MASALA
Between Heritage and the Present.
For over 25 years, Masala has been part of our family's journey in hospitality. Four years ago, the space was given a new visual language — with the aim of translating cultural familiarity into something contemporary and confident. The peacock became the starting point. Its colours, forms and reflections are carried throughout the space — through walls, lighting, furniture, restrained decoration and even the tableware.
Every element was carefully considered. Oak, furniture velvet, textured surfaces and light create warmth, depth and longevity. Rather than filling the space with supposedly "Indian" materials or replicas, cultural references are allowed to evolve and meet different materials and influences.
The result is a space that does not display its heritage, but carries it naturally.
Design does not have to copy heritage — it can move it forward.
